The Bible is not a science book but it does reveal many scientific facts many years ahead before these facts were discovered by man.
For example, in Isaiah 40:22, “It is He who sits above the circle of the earth. And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.” The passage speaks of the “circle” of the earth more than 2000 years before men discovered that the earth was round.
Another example is Psalm 8:8, “The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.” Here it speaks of the “paths of the sea” many hundreds of years before men discovered the currents flowing in the oceans. Today, ocean liners follow these currents to make it easier and cheaper to cross the ocean.
Third example, we can read in Leviticus 17:11, 14, “11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ 14 for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.’” Moses wrote, “life is in the blood”. This fact has been discovered by medical science only within the past few hundred years.
Many more scientific facts can be found that were recorded in the Bible many years before they were discovered by man which would show that the Bible could not have originated with man and must have originated with God.
